Kimbolton Castle is located in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire in England.
Catherine of Aragon, King Henry 8th’s first wife, lived at Kimbolton Castle and died their in January of 1536.
In 1615 1st Earl of Manchester, Sir Henry Montagu bought the Castle which remained in the possession of his family for 335 until 1951.
Between 1690 and 1720 many parts of the Castle were reconstructed.
During World War 2 the Castle was used by the Royal Army Medical Corps and then eventually turned into a school in 1951.
Today the Castle remains being used as a school.
Reported Paranormal Activity
There have been reports of the ghost of Catherine of Aragon haunting the Castle.
Sir John Popham once lived at the castle and apparently threw a baby out of a window into the courtyard below. Every year on the anniversary of this event, the stone which the baby lands on appears to glow bright red.
